Had a great time grilling out chicken with a good friend

Easy to pick a spot and pay, though it’s a busy season so several good sites were already occupied (some by long-term rentals).

It's ok. Not much to do from the campsite. You have to drive to any activities like fishing. There are horse trails from the campsite, but that's about it.

Worked in a pinch as a quick getaway to the woods. Will look elsewhere for solitude.

Not as much privacy as I’d prefer. Nice forest. Palmetto Trail is pleasant.

Good campground, cheap price, had the whole campground to ourselves in June.

What a beautiful campground! Very quiet. Rustic with fire pits and picnic tables but no running water. Toilet areas are very clean and there's heavy duty covered trash bins. It's just a big circle with lots of room between sites. Lots of trees. They even allow horses! It only cost us $2.50 a night with our intra agency national park pass...$5 a night otherwise. Cell reception is very good too. Pretty close to interstate but not a whole lot to do close by it appears. Rangers check on things throughout the day. Just a super place to stop and chill.
